Chi Sao drills constitute some of the most important training in the wing chun kung fu system. While many chi sao techniques do not apply to actual combat, training in this fundamental wing chun drill will help students develop contact reflexes, which is the key to victory in a live combat situation.
Chi Sao training develops close quarter co-ordination and close quarter focusing; improves mobility, balance, timing and accuracy; increases chi power; and creates ample targets and openings in which to attack and counter.
Dynamic Chi Sao is written and demonstrated by Grandmaster William Cheung, one of the world’s most respected traditional kung fu technicians and former top disciple of wing chun grandmaster Yip Man.
Illustrated with more than 250 empty hand forms and two-man applications, Dynamic Chi Sao guides you step by step through the wing chun chi sao curriculum.
